Giving Instruction

Imperative expressions are used when we want to give instructions to other people. It is used to ask people to do or not to do something. We use an infinitive without “to” when we want to make imperative sentences.
Examples:
·      Put some sugar into the cup!
·      Don’t stir the mixture too fast!
We can make imperative sentences from the two ways:
Positive Imperative (command)
Negative Imperative (prohibition)
-          Turn it on!
-          Go there!
-          Be on time!
-          Don’t turn it on!
-          Don’t go there!
-          Don’t be late!

A.    Task  1
Complete the sentences. Use the verbs in the box!

       Example:
     Cook some rice for supper, please!
